Founded
in 1934, Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington
with some of the most mature vineyards in the Columbia Valley.
Our single vineyard wines epitomize the terroir of the winery's
best vineyards: Cold
Creek Vineyard was first planted in 1973, not far from Indian
Wells Vineyard on the Wahluke slope. In 1991, we planted Canoe
Ridge Estate Vineyard on a steep bank along the Columbia River,
just a short drive from Horse Heaven Vineyard, another one of
the Columbia Valley's oldest and most award-winning vineyards.
